As chief infrastructure officer, Martin Symmers is responsible for Wood Mackenzie’s IT services, creating and delivering a compelling vision for technology optimisation across an international organisation.
Martin works to transform Wood Mackenzie’s infrastructure and business technology to deliver services befitting a major data and technology firm in the energy industry. His successes have included modernising workplace technology, replacing on-premise with cloud hosting, and improving data and application services that support business operations.
Martin joined Wood Mackenzie in 2019, bringing 30 years of experience in industry and management consulting. His previous roles include head of group technology strategy at Standard Life and principal advisor at KPMG.
